Discovering Paris through acts of kindness
Three years ago, on one of my most memorable trips, I learned about a little word called kindness. Kindness is when you are willing to help others without expecting anything in return. This was my first time travelling to Paris and it was a lot more eventful than expected. A missed bus provided new opportunities and unexpected levels of “La gentillesse” from Parisians – with the misrepresentation as being aloof, these acts of kindness turned what could’ve been a nightmare, into a trip to remember.
