Letter from the Editor “Magical Times”

Welcome to December! 

If you’ve been following us for a while, you know that this is my favourite month of the year. And since I moved from the Southern to the Northern Hemisphere, it’s settled even more at the top of the list, since I’ve been able to enjoy for the first time a white Christmas, like the ones I’ve watched on films since I can remember.

But even though December is way more than just Christmas, the sentiment shared throughout the month, particularly around the festivities, is something worth celebrating on its own. It’s about the magical feeling that everything is possible, that even though it might sound corny, our wildest dreams can come true.

I love this idea. Especially because once you fall in love with travelling and the possibility of seeing the world, and enjoy with your own eyes places and landmarks we’ve read about in books and seen in films, then we genuinely feel like everything is possible.

So, I’m thrilled to welcome you to “Magical Times”, our December magazine. In this issue, enjoy reading about Celebrating Multiculturalism Around The World: 11 Holidays Celebrated In December Worldwide, The Enchanting World of Christmas Markets: Must-Visit Destinations, Sustainable Gift ideas for the end-of-the-year festivities and fun and different Christmas traditions and presents.

As always, travel with us to destinations like Stanisici in the Republic of Srpska and Geothermal Spas in Iceland, and feel inspired reading about Lisa’s five-year solo adventure in a camper across New Zealand. And, because these times can also be a bit hard on us, especially if we can’t spend them with those that matter the most to us, dive into our The Coach articles and read about relatable stories from writers from different corners of the world that might make you realize that you’re not alone in how you’re feeling.
